Worship with us!
Sunday Mornings at 11:00 AM
1441 Russ Avenue
Waynesville, NC 28786
What is Worship Like?
We teach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible (Expostitional Preaching). Our music uses simple instrumentation and places a focus on the participants singing together. Our services include singing, prayer, giving, preaching, and communion.
How Do I Grow Here?
We gather throughout the week to study together, pray for the world and one another and hold each other accountable. It’s not easy or comfortable sometimes, but it produces real spiritual growth!
What About My Kids?
We know modern families are busy, so we keep things simple. Parents teach at home during the week, and we reteach those lessons during Sunday School. Sound intimidating? We can train you!
How Do I Serve Here?
Service positions in the church are for members. Our membership process includes an interview with the pastors and the approval of the other church members.
Who Leads the Church?
We are an elder-led, congregationally affirmed, and deacon served church.
What Do We Believe?
We hold to historic Baptist doctrine and theology.
Theology Matters Here
As a church, we affirm the following doctrinal statements:
The Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
The New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1833)
The Danvers Statement
The Nashville Statement
The Chicago Statement
The Dallas Statement
Does my money matter?
Jesus gave us a mission to bring the Good News of salvation to people everywhere, and to love both friends and enemies along the way. Your gift each week, no matter the size, is used supernaturally by God to feed, clothe, heal, and save others. God takes our material offerings and turns them into spiritual growth for His kingdom!
